Friday, 14 October 2011 21:53
Monday 10th October to Friday 14th October saw the school involved in Book Week. The children were involved in several events:
Key Stage 1 held a bookmark making competition and enjoyed a visit from author Asma Ahmad. Key Stage 2 held a writing competition and Year 6 also held a story-telling competition where they had to read to the Key Stage 1 children and were very well received.

The winner's bookmarks.

A big thank you to those parents who came in to read to the children, to Year 6 for their efforts in the story-telling competition, Mrs Naz for organising the activities and Mrs Adam for the great display.
