The staff and pupils were visited by Belle Kainth our schools Accident Prevention Officer.
Belle is an annual visitor to the school. Her role is to teach and raise awareness of Road Safety in our children’s local environment at school and at home. The pupils enjoyed a number of fun and engaging activities that helped them to learn about this very important issue:
· learning to cross roads in a mock road set for Reception and Year 1, to an
interactive board game for lower
· a walk in the local area for Year 2
· interactive board game for Yrs 3 and 4
· an engineering/road design game for Yrs 5 and 6
Our children ma’ashAllah always enjoy the visit form Belle .
Our parents too have a role to play. By modeling how to cross roads carefully and where to park cars and show awareness of the safety of others, we can ensure that we all remain safe all the time insha’Allah.”
