Year 5 have designed and written recipes for special biscuits. Their work will be compiled into a booklet Insha Allaah.
This is the first step. Over the next 2 weeks, Year 5 will be baking biscuits and will also learn to make decorations using marzipan.

Using Chalk in Art Lessons

Year 5 has been learning how to use chalk pastels. The children experimented with using various colours and mixed them to create different tones and shades. To finish off, they lightly brushed the chalk with water to create a watercolour effect.

Welcome to Year 5. It is exciting to be back and may Allaah make this a productive and successful year for us all. Ameen!
Year 5 is taught by Ms. Nusrat who has been teaching at Noor ul Islam for the fifth year now. Ustaadh Ishaaq is the Islamic Studies teacher and he dismisses the class on Fridays.
